Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated a lot. No comparison to before. What a shame! Unfortunately we also had a very rude waitress. Every step was too much for her. In addition, she was very unfriendly. And that in Corona times when every customer should be worth gold! The ambience was positive.

Discovered by chance during a bike ride in the heat and dropped anchor. We were a little late and could only get a glass of wine. Afterwards there was a lunch break. A shame because the menu card was very inviting. The wine was very good / tasty and comes from our own cultivation. Go there !!! It's worth it, but it's closed from 3pm to 5pm (like everywhere else in the region).

Super nice atmosphere and extremely personable and courteous staff. It would be nice if there was at least one more salad in the vegan menu or if you could spontaneously prepare it vegan. Shouldn't be a problem with salad. A star deduction, unfortunately, because my dish was unseasoned and not quite cooked and, above all, because I would have liked the staff to have a safe distance between the tables and masks in order to feel comfortable.

The ambiance is extraordinary. Unfortunately, the vaulted cellar at this time of year (November) is cold and drafty, although a heater exists. The food was excellent. The operation is quite fast even with a larger group. Gladly again - but then in the summer, when it's hot outside 😎

Delicious food and nice ambient to have a great evening. One thing I missed was the "Bauernbrot" (farmers bread) which was in the menu. Instead of a great traditional bread we get sliced ​​bread rolls.

The menu is very diverse, from salads to pork medallions with spaetzle to ravioli, and there is a lot on offer. We only looked in vain for the cheese spaetzle. The taste of the food was absolutely perfect. The Maultaschen soup really contained pieces of the Maultaschen and the pork loin with spaetzle was a poem, especially with the great sauce. The amount was definitely enough to fill you up. The prices of the dishes at 4.50 euros for the soup and just under 17 euros for the pork are completely within reasonable limits. Let's get to the only point of criticism of our food ... the service. We got everything and the delivery was pretty quick, but it took some time to get there. The waitress basically showed very little presence outside and when they were there, you had to be quick and draw attention to yourself. I would have liked a little more attention, even if only 3 tables were occupied. Conclusion: In the end it is enough to deserve 4 stars, which could be 5 without any problems with a little better service. But in the end there was simply a lack of presence. Whether this is due to the narrow streets mentioned at the beginning, you don't know ...

The food was very fast and tasted very good. Value for money is absolutely fine. A highlight was the extra spring menu with many asparagus and wild garlic dishes. Ambiance is appealing. I give only 4 stars, as the service staff was nice but we often did not understand correctly and also 2 wrong food were brought to our table. Otherwise Top and Recommended!

The location and the food are highly recommended. The menu has something for every taste. There is currently a seasonal lunch with asparagus and wild garlic. There is still room for improvement at the service. Unfortunately, the friendliness was saved. Although the restaurant was sparsely populated, food was changed several times.

Good hotel with a great restaurant, situated in a fantastic old city. Too bad that there was no air conditioning in my room which is situated above the restaurant terrace. Had to close the windows with temperature above 25 degrees making sleeping almost impossible.

The room is great, but a few inconveniences with not being able to switch off the light from the bed and no parking space.

A cozy hotell with a good restaurant!

Bed is ok and the equipment in the hotel room as well, but there are some thinks, that are quite old or odd. There is for example a washbasin in a room instead in a bathroom. TV signal is soo poor, that you can't watch it. Internet is even worse than TV. I managet to connect after a 30 minutes of trying, but it cuts you off every few minutes and the speed is from 90ths. There is a pub with a garden in front of the hotel, so if there are people drinking till 2 a clock in the morning, you can't sleep until then, because windows and wall are old and they don't stop all the sound. Mainly you have to have your window opened in summer otherwise you would be baked in the room like a turkey in an oven. There are another 2 thinks, that will keep you awake whole night. One is a churge bell, that rings every half an our and second is a street, that goes directly nex to the hotel, where you can hear maily the morning trafic. There is a small parkplace behind the hotel. You get a really good and fresh breackfast with enough possibilites to choose from. Restaurant is also there in a hotel. You can sit even outside on terasse. You get a superb meal a really great wine, that they make. I give 2 stars only because of a restaurant and wine.
